Nervous about this quali. Lewis was really fast in FP3…when he could keep it on the track.

Very feast or famine.
Miso glazed cod, spicy stir fried broccolini, home made chili crisp. Did the fish in the toaster oven since I was only doing one portion and it didn’t get hot enough to really brown the glaze. Still tasty, though.
Trump’s crash out over not winning the Nobel Prize is going to be legendary.
Hard to believe there was no warning on the telemetry that the pads were about to explode, but here we are.
Or, he will in fact catch Kimi immediately before his brakes explode. SMH.
Hawley has a style that is more about exploring ideas and sometimes his plots don’t connect up fully and his characters don’t always feel fully developed because they are more there to represent an idea or even a universal/natural force than an actual person. I like it but it’s not for everyone.
Prometheus is probably the peak of supposedly smart people doing incredibly dumb things. AE didn’t seem particularly egregious in that to me, but it’s part horror genre so that just comes with the territory.
I liked it a lot. How did you feel about Fargo?

Hawley definitely has a style and super tight plotting where everything is explained and connects perfectly isn’t part of it.
When one of the dog breeders you were considering but had already eliminated for other reasons posts about “over vaccination” in dogs with a lot of “what vets won’t tell you” stuff.

The unraveling of this dude is going to be one of those “slowly then suddenly” situations.

We’re in the “nothing happened for a few months so people moved back to Mount St Helens” phase of things.

FWIW, while it’s obviously completely unacceptable to have the FCC chair pressuring affiliates to take Kimmel off the air, his comments were inaccurate and inflammatory.

Whatever Tyler Robinson ends up being, he’s not mainline MAGA and it’s not helpful or responsible to make that accusation.
Last day at the old job was yesterday, first day at the new job Monday, big gay bachelor party tonight…definitely time for a hair cut.
And is one hit away from vegetable status at all times.
Does anyone actually prefer a table over a booth?
Super intelligence is the new cold fusion.
I always find it funny when the discourse gets into “men dress for women” and “women dress for men” and if we were really honest with ourselves about what compliments actually resonate with us, we’d admit that we are all dressing hoping to get approval from the gay men in our lives.
The TikTok algorithm gets so incredibly specific and repetitive that it can give you a wildly distorted perception of what is in the national zeitgeist.

My algo would have you believe that theee is major controversy over Sydney Sweeney’s jeans ad and Ralph Lauren’s Oak Bluffs collection.
Thought experiment:

Would all the money being poured into AI clusters be more or less of an economic/environmental disaster if the companies instead built factories to light equivalent amounts of cash on fire?
Ribs aren’t just for smoking. Oven roasted with tomatoes, onions and peppers that cook down into a jam here. Sautéed corn with Calabrian chili and lemon juice. Arugula salad with vinaigrette and fried almonds and garlic chips.
Yes, I’m rewatching season 2 currently to remember what happened. It will be interesting to see what happens with a reduced budget and new show runner. Not super optimistic.
It wasn’t a party, Kait. It was a gathering of people who know each other!
Look, I’m not saying it wasn’t tasty, but that antipasto salad didn’t look THAT good.
Well, I think Lewis can get George on pace, and the chance of fuckery between Max, Lando, and Oscar seems high so podium is still a good possibility.
