A bloody tobacco lobbyist as Prime Minister. Imagine it, horrendous. The blokes already demonstrated his fundamentally flawed ethical compass. This will be a thug doing heavy lifting for rich people
I’d be very surprised if they weren’t great big backhanders from the new contract, that the original contract didn’t include. Greed is a powerful drug, and our coalition government are junkies
RN here. I absolutely endorse your message! The shingles vaccine is funded at age 65, and I recommend where possible a person get it at age 50. Just a shame that unless you are in your 65th year it costs north of $700. I just got mine at 60.
Indeed labour must. Until then I’m kind of hankering for TPM and green to keep building governance experience. It’s an incredibly tough fortress they have to penetrate but I think we need their voices closer to the seats of power always. We need limits on the accumulation of wealth.
The solutions proposed for New Zealand's (and virtually every other country's) problems are always like: "We need to make people work for more years" "We have to cut back on services, I'm sorry, there is just no other way" "We have to cut benefits for young people"
The regulatory standards Bill is being pushed through to serve the interests of non-New Zealanders. Our thug government has been captured by global interests. As long as Luxo gets his knighthood and money, he doesn’t give a flyingF.
Given high likelihood of Turning Point's ideological foundations infiltrating other countries, & university campuses in particular, this guide from American Association of University Professors is helpful. I don't think NZ Uni administrations are fully aware or ready. www.aaup.org/sites/defaul...
Everything ends up as some kind of negotiation about how greedy the citizens will allow the greediest to be. Wage workers have been gaslit for decades on this point. Capitalism doesn’t care if the workers are unhappy, as long as they can go to work and do their job.
I despair at the vitriolic tone that emanates from Luxon Seymour and Peters. They are aping the escalated rhetoric the US regime has so profited from on social media. They are all thugs.
Wonder what Mister "The world doesn't owe you a living" Luxon would be doing if the Fifth Labour Government had said that to Air New Zealand in 2001 instead of writing a $900m bail-out cheque.
Oh, I keep forgetting - Market Forces for Thee and Thine, Corporate Welfare for Me and Mine! #nzpol
