Suicide get a mention in the Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere film. His engineer suggests he doesn’t listen to the album on repeat. DBD introduced to me by an NME cassette.
I would watch this just to hear Sweep declare himself a faithful every week, and none of the other puppets be any wiser as to what he said.
The one time, the ONLY time, I was properly ahead of the curve was when I bought the previous release of West End Girls that notably failed to trouble the chart compilers.

I mean, I went to see The Dancing Did in concert, but that was being ahead of a curve which was, in reality, not there.
Must have come as a "super-lative surprise", then....
They’re doing Lexicon Of Love at the Palladium next month. Tickets booked, looking forward to it.
Wait till you’re 62. All the inhibition is gone by then.
I mean, I’m not planning on going any time soon…. But I’m going to set a reminder so I don’t forget.
Don't have them but know exactly where the back numbers live in the British Library. Can take a snap next time I'm there if that helps?
Haven't sliced open the shrink-wrap yet, but looking forward especially to your take on Wild... Thanks for a lovely performance from you and Zosia in Kingston last night for @banquetrecords.com
What? what? what? Mrs Thatcher was Secretary of State only 11 months before she became leader of the Conservative Party.
You have to switch to #FIPMonde to avoid this sort of nonsense, Justin.
You look like you had an excellent seat. Wasn’t that a great night? so much love in the room.
Hope to see you there! And that the crew who talked all through the Kane Gang gig aren’t there…
My latest #Blipfoto entry. Why couldn’t the wealthy just use the ribbon off a box of chocolates like everyone else.

Hawley referenced this during his discussion with Lamacq at the Rose Theatre in Kingston on Monday. Not to explain it - he just said it was ‘mad’. Then played a great acoustic gig.

Since the Burnham mayoralty began, I think there’s local legislation requiring all pubs in Manchester to have a framed picture of Mr Maconie. Same as all pubs in London having to have a picture of the Queen Mum pulling a pint.
This can’t be right. I’m never in the top 1% of anything. It’s a point of principle.
Very chic…. I think that’s the word I’m looking for.
That’ll be fab. The band was on good form but Neil said he didn’t feel match fit yet. New violinist Rosie in the line up, who was very good on her first show with the band and was namechecked every time there was a pause between songs. Have a great time.
