A massive well done to our U18’s who finished second at their tournament in Spain. Special mention to our phenomenal keeper Amber who was voted keeper of the tournament winning the golden gloves. #jaxmcnedia#football#girlsfootball#teamwork
Well done to our under 12’s on another great league win at the weekend. The girls remain unbeaten. Well done to the girls playing in their first league game this weekend, they all slotted in well and the team as a whole worked hard together.
Our 3 oldest age groups all took part in the Inchra cup at the weekend. With both our U16’s and U14’s making it through to the plate final before narrowly missing out on lifting the plate. Thanks to Central football academy for organising. We look forward to returning next year.
A great game for our girls on Wednesday. They fought for every ball and never gave up fighting, showing so great composure under pressure. Very unlucky not to win this one but incredible proud of how they played as a team.
Our under 14’s coaches being the divas they are. So thankful for all our volunteers who give up so much of their time to support our girls and keep the club running.
A massive thank you to all who came and supported us at kilbarchan_lilias_day. Despite the weather the girls managed to raise just over £500 towards their Barcelona trip in October. If you missed us today we will be at the bridge of weir gala day on Saturday the 14th June.
Good luck to our girls who all have league games this weekend. Our under 18’s will also be at Lillie’s day in Kilbarchan on Saturday with their giant football card, beat the goalie and a tombola so stop by and support them if you can. #gameday#football#ScottishWomensFootball#girlsfootball
With several key players out injured we knew it was going to be tough game for our girls tonight and after another couple injured during the game it just wasn’t to be our night. But all the coaches & parents are incredibly proud of the girls for making it to the semifinal.
Good luck to our U16’s who face Giffnock Red in the semifinal of the league cup tonight. If you are free and want to come support the girls kickoff is 20:15 at Mearns Castle high school.
Our girls are certainly made of tough stuff and committed to their team. Despite their injuries Amy, Ayleigh and Hannah still attended training, working on their fitness and footwork (non contact) and continue to come and support their teammates on the sidelines at games.
Our under 18’s girls face Grampian girls united in the Scottish cup on Sunday. It’s set to be a scorching day so if you are free come along and support the girls in the sunshine. No games for our U14’s and U16’s this week. #cupgame#girlsfootball#gameday
On Saturday our under 18’s girls continued their fundraising by having a stall at the Kilmacolm and Port Glasgow show. Keepy-up high score of 503 by Eva won a football. Well done to Tina Hill on picking the winning team on the football card and bagging herself £250. Thank you for all your support.
