Literally at least they're reading 😭 and at least it's still kindergarten! Not to toot my own horn but I was reading LOTR in 5th grade, like what's going on. It's all so depressing. Then even if kids can read words phonics-wise, reading for comprehension is a whole nother beast

Yeah, I'm happy for bloomfies who love it and think it's hilarious in a confirmation bias way when it's 'accurate'. The only planetary thing I for sure buy into is moon stuff. I can concretely see and feel a difference with my students around the full moon plus there's actual magnetic pull happening

And on the education perspective side of things, I think it's why (or at least a huge contributing factor) we're hurtling towards illiteracy with the next generation of kids. Test scores are genuinely terrifying and there seems to be no evening out of the downward trend 😭

Same! I hate all the psychics 😭 I've gone down too many rabbit holes about how much they've messed up police investigations and screwed over families etc. And I just think it's not that hard to be observant and pick up on people's vibes then say vague nothing-burgers until something hits
