Lascelles regularly recorded for Sir Coxsone Dodd from the late 1950s onwards. Here's a soulful mid-70s cover version he did at Studio 1 of a Rubien Fort tune...

Only released on 7" at the time but has been compiled a few times since. Do you do CDs? If so this does a good job of collecting together the best of those early 7's that didn't appear on LPs...

Absolutely. I'm continually fascinated by the period from '71 - '74 which saw him write and record some astonishing tunes, and all before his 18th birthday. This one is just beautiful...
