one year since Grand Festival! this once in a lifetime event inspired my most popular artwork (slightly revamped for new kits!), which was also how i met @sacredstarlordpi.bsky.social and @ikazooks.bsky.social when they found my redraw of their FE team. still so proud of this!

People would be so much less salty about three Awakening reps if Chrom and Lucina (justifiably!) shared a spot and we could get a new game in her place too! Like the Roy concept of a hotheaded and aggressive Marth variant was MADE for them, a way better fit for Chrom and his kid than for Roy himself

Yeah like there ARE easy changes you could make like this that give character-expressive Melee-like alternate playstyles without crazy dev effort. Like replace Daisy's float with a triple jump, now she feels more like herself and there's a reason to pick either. But they wanted just glorified skins.

Lucina's moveset is also just straight up wrong. She doesn't fight gracefully elegant like Marth, she fights forcefully destructive like Chrom. She should've just been an alternate costume for him and she'd be more faithful, and her Marth clone spot could go to a new unrepped game pick like Eirika.

Okay so we never would've gotten Dark Pit AT ALL if he had to be reanimated with staff attacks over reusing bow assets. It's not realistic. My problem is we could've gotten simple parameter changes, like making Pit faster on the ground and Dark Pit in the air, and their playstyles are different now.
