Matthias was almost done with the bl00d transfer and he reached out to hold his boyfriend's hand.

Matthias was a little shaky so they brought him apple juice and crackers.

He ate and drank both.

Matthias saw the light and was immediately relieved, except he didn't intend on waking Florian up. He frowned and nodded, pretending everything was fine.

"I'm sorry.....Go back to sleep....I....I can go sleep elsewhere."

He moved the covers and sighed. He knew Florian needed sleep.

Strings. Thin strings. Covering the walls. The ceiling. Matthias' body hung in the dim light of all the strings wrapped around tightly for his ankles and wrists even his torso.

Then he spotted it. That smile. It was Louis. All Louis.

He woke up from the nightmare, searching for a light.

Even though sound came from his mouth, he never moved his lips. Matthias could stay like this for hours upon request.

The nurse stuck him with the needle and drew the bl00d from his thin arm. He nodded to confirm Florian's delirium as the nurses worked their hardest to get him some pain medication.

"Florian. Just listen to the sound of my voice right now. I'll tell you a story if you do."

The puppeteer began to smile just a little bit before his lips were stolen into a kiss. This slow intimate moment did not assist his breathing recovery, but Florian usually took his breath away.

He began to mumble. "I love you." Just between their lips so he could be heard.

The shirt smelled like his boyfriend so much so he was feeling calm and at ease in his mind. His tormented mind.

"Wait, are we really doing this? Florian!-"

trying to stop him. Yet it was no use. The soaked shirt stuck like glue to his skin as he tried to cover himself up for decency sake.

He saw what Florian was trying to do and he shook his head trying to protest, yet he was already undressed from the waist up.

He spoke in a timid manner that matched his current physical state. His gloved hand reached up to feel the gentle kiss that was placed upon his cheek. It was warm and light.

Matthias was quick to recognize what Florian was trying to do, but he shook his head and was adamant about

He avoided eye contact, but stayed perfectly still. His joints were able to stay in this position easily.

Matthias rolled up his sleeve and was ready for the nurses to take his blood for Florian. He was sure they were compatible.

He sat down while they withdrew his blood. He sighed and lied to him.

"You're not at a hospital. It's a fun date we're going on."

He teased as he placed a hand upon his own chest. Breathing was difficult but at least he was lying here resting. Staring up at his yellow haired hotty. His face was flush as he felt the chest pain start to leave.

Matthias rested his head on his boyfriend's lap. He was exhausted from lifting him up to the rooftop. He knew he shouldn't have even bothered to try and help.

He wheezed as he took deep breaths in and out just like Florian recommended. Yet he knew.

all his clothes were soaked beneath the rain coat. He was finally chilled to the bone.

"We should go inside now....unless you wish to splash in the puddles?"

That's something that would cheer Matthias up. However, his lips and skin were turning a slight shade of blue.

Florian returning the lopsided smile....it wasn't real. It couldn't have been real. Louis stole that from him. Still for Florian's sake he forced one out. That smile.....that smile.....why was it piercing his memory like a dagger driven into....his eye.....

He began to shiver. After

He whispered under his breath so that Florian wouldn't hear. He scrunched the rain hat in his hands and looked up to the sky. The cool rain trickling down his burn ridden face.

"Thank you....for the raincoat."

He turned his head towards-

His nimble fingers brushed over the surface of his palm as he sighed in relief.

He figured it was about time he should make him aware of where he was currently and how he got here.....well, more or less.

"You're in the hospital. Your injuries were severe...But they are going to take care of you."

The small smile was reassuring. That ensured his Florian was still....his Florian. He expected that much.

"If he needs a blood transfusion. I can donate."

He had frail arms, but he was willing. He held onto Florian's hand as if that was the one thing that kept them tethered together.

"Florian....you can blow the rest of the bubbles."

He was still wheezing. He couldn't blow a bubble even if he wanted to. He wiped the sweat off his brow.

Matthias laid on his back absolutely wasted. This man was a stick. No muscle whatsoever. Yet being with Florian, you have to have at least some.

Whether it was carrying him or having to catch him when he fell.....it was quite the task.

Once he caught he breath he spoke in a squeaky voice that-

Matthias did not take in consideration how heavy Florian actually was. His arm began to tremble as his grip tightened. He began to pull him up even though he struggled greatly.

"Next time, please.....use....a....ladder."

He took heavy breaths until he finally pulled him up beside him.

He changed the subject almost immediately, noting how foolish he was considering the thoughts of birds.
