I am seriously considering my social media choices. I’ve already bailed on two platforms. As an early adopter, I initially enjoyed exposure to info and people I could never meet in my day-to-day life. Although there is some of this still, it is often drowned out by hate. Goodbye hate. Hello Gander.
Same here. The Sopranos always astonish me with their ability to reach those high notes.

It could be through poetry, dance, music, painting, writing...
or even math, science, accounting 🙏🏽 💙

Have a great week everyone. It’s been lovely sharing this time with you. Thank you Kumud for creating this space for us to connect and reflect. #spiritchat
A9: Music brings us closer to the divine. You hear singer-songwriters talk about how the inspiration for some of their most popular songs comes to them like a gift. When we sing, play or listen to music, we are lifting the energetic cadence. #spiritchat
Hello my friend. I have been admiring your strength and courage during these chaotic times. Stay strong.
I sang that exact song to one of our foster cats. He would climb up for a cuddle and curl into a ball as I sang feeling the resonance of the song. It was very difficult to say goodbye to that special kitty when he was adopted. #spiritchat
A7: As a Tenor in a choir, when you are learning your part, it sounds very discordant, but the moment when you put the 4 parts together and your voices blend in a human chord - is magical. Singing in community is energizing and uplifting. #spiritchat
Yes, me too. Some great memories from those days. Any favourite concerts? I find this is a little bit easier than choosing a fave song. #spiritchat
Aw. Yes, there are several people who do this or are very close to doing this. One of my colleagues did this for three or four years. #spiritchat
I had a similar hairbrush microphone. :) #spiritchat
A4: I learned how to play guitar in my teens and the music of Carole King, Jimmy Buffet, America, Bread, the Eagles - too many to list - was my backdrop. My part-time job earnings were spent on buying 45s, sheet music and going to concerts. #spiritchat
Cool! Will check him out. I have not heard ofhim. #spiritchat
I’m overwhelmed with work and volunteering right now, but a big project is coming to an end soon and I will be able to relax into the slower rhythm of the fall soon. #spiritchat
I did the same thing Samantha when I read the blog post for this chat. We always had music on in the house when I was growing up. I cannot imagine a world without music. #spiritchat
Hello Sharon! I hope that you have been well. #spiritchat
Good morning Kumud. Was it the documentary about wolves? We have a lot of them on the island. #spiritchat
A3: I never turn my back on music. It is a constant in my life especially when walking. I also sing in a rock choir so need to practice every week to learn the harmonies. #spiritchat
Good morning #spiritchat. Joining late. A2: It’s impossible for me to choose one favourite song, but Motown music is among my top five.
Someone on the bus has Voltaren on and it is very calming. In addition to creating a cooling sensation on the skin, it is also soothing to the nervous system - a welcome addition in a chaotic world.
