I'm just a #StarTrek Fan, enjoying a #rewatch of it all and sharing some thoughts about each and every episode. One post per Episode, multiple comments per post. Feel free to join and comment. Let's have fun!
I'm trying to stay true to the in-universe timeline and production sequences. ...

This was the final Enterprise episode shot on film stock; starting with Season 4, the show moved to HD digital production.

... offer – maybe even among the best in the whole franchise.
The actors’ performances were often stellar, and I can’t get enough of the sets, props, costumes, and starships.
It’s a pity we only have one more season to go.

... With some storylines, like T'Pol’s addiction, it felt as if the writers didn’t really know where they wanted to go with it. It was introduced well but then kind of cut off, resolved with an unbelievably quick healing.

Still, some of these episodes are the best Enterprise has to

... Star Trek for an entire season. The optimism was there, but often buried under heavy, dark themes.
The Xindi arc was great – but in my opinion, it dragged on for too long. Especially since character development could only progress so far under such warlike circumstances.

... with a peak performance as commanding officer! I really enjoyed seeing that.
Still, it bothers me how easy her addiction recovery seemed to have been.

And with this, let’s take a short look back at Season 3.
For me, it was a little too little of my beloved, hopeful

... Finally, we learn T'Pol’s age – and she frames it as intimate information. This works on so many levels that it’s close to awesome.
What derailed me a bit, though, is that the dialogue leading to that moment feels really constructed.

Apropos T'Pol: she’s back

0076 - ENT03x24 - Zero Hour (German title: Die Stunde Null)
Story
The Enterprise saves Earth and Xindi space but ends up thrown back into the past – with Archer missing in action.

Notes
I like that the MACOs finally get a bit of payoff, saving the world(s) by having Archer’s back.

These are awesome! Do you sell them as prints?
There are so many. But one mediocre episode will always have a very special place in my heart, as it accompanied my first ever non platonic kiss with a beautiful girl. Coincidentally it's the VOY Episode 'Unforgettable'
Warum liegt hier Stroh? - Zitat Ende
Nur courtroom im Kopf. 🤣👍 Großartig.

Ich muss leider warten, bis dass einer mit Lower Decks macht (Temporal Edict)
Ne I mir läuft den ganzen Tag 'DuckTales - Wohoo' 🙈🤣🙈
Probably they intended to telegraph the message, that you are too poor for their hotel, if you still have to work yourself.
... pays off after a season of “why are you here?”

T'Pol calls Commander Tucker Trip for the first time.

As I said in 0074, the episode was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Special Visual Effects.
Guess who won the Emmy? It was the also nominated 0075 – Countdown.

... Archer saves the world (well, 90% saved. Some more shooting to do in the finale, but still) with diplomacy.

Hoshi is infected by a parasite to make her obey Reptilian orders. Still, she manages to add to their problem rather than solve it.

The MACOs save her, and it finally

0075 - ENT03x23 - Countdown

Story
Hoshi is captured by the Reptilians to help decipher the last needed launch code.
While Hayes tries to rescue her, Archer makes a deal with the Aquatics.

Notes
A lot of stuff going on – but these are my highlights:

Because of orange and blue?
... feels absolutely inevitable. Great piece of writing.

At the end, we face quite a cliffhanger: Hoshi is kidnapped.

#StarTrekFunFact
The episode earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Special Visual Effects.

0074 - ENT03x22 - The Council (German title: Der Rat)

Story
Archer tries to get the Xindi Council to side with the humans and turn their back on the Sphere Builders.

Notes
Degra is murdered – a pity, he had quite an impact on this season.

The Xindi splitting up into two factions

I remember it being the first one with sniper mode on any weapon. 💪
... descendants Archer meets.
The produced episode kept the generational-descendants hook but made the ship Enterprise instead.
