The late pick went off a lineman’s helmet?!
Got mine Friday at a CVS in CA. After the initial checkboxes about underlying conditions during the online appointment screens, once I was there, no questions asked. Also, there was a huge line and lots of conversation about RFK being a bafoon. They said their store had 135 appointments Friday.
Didn’t Trump just meet face to face with Putin? Just sayin’
Our thoughts and prayers are with poor Lynsi, who apparently struggles with her billion dollar inheritance to raise her (now adult) kids in California.
I was in line behind Smoky Robinson in airport security in Vegas. He left his belt on the X-ray conveyor, so I flagged him down to get it. Yes, they made him take off his shoes.
We were on an RV trip in Vermillion Cliffs last October and had planned to go there, but scratched it due to time. Now I regret it 😩
They were not wrong. An aggressors primary tactic against a Union is divide and conquer. Don’t walk into it. Remember who the enemy is. The system’s set up where unions are at an inherent disadvantage and always must react. They need help and solidarity, not scolding over the other parties actions.
I’ve seen plenty of this nonsense. “Why did you let management (fill in the blank)” get a grip, I can read.
My daughter got a new couch for Caturday
I saw it at the Dead Center Film Festival last year. Amazing!
Classic. Blame the Union for the actions of the aggressor. Bush league. Do better
Two weeks ago in Tahoe, and a couple days ago in Vegas, “surprise storms” were deadly. Coincidence?
FWIW Daniel Swain, there are many of us who still listen to you scientists and I have to hope the pendulum will swing off this awful moment in history. As I like to say, Mother Nature is undefeated and will have the final say.
And Lake Tahoe’s deadly storm. Were there empty chairs due to staff cuts that day? It “came out of nowhere” Did it??
And let’s not forget about the storm that caught so many off guard in Vegas a couple days ago?!
I’ll keep an ear out for you when we visit Glacier later this summer
Well, we enjoyed having you while we did in Chico, and as a weather junkie, I knew we’d only have you briefly, because all the good ones move on.
And yes, the Texas EM comments are a joke.
I agree and think we’re saying the same thing. I read the criticism as not of the frontline meteorologists, but rather policy makers who are leaving skeleton crews to do multiple jobs. I am retired FAA and I REVERE the NWS meteorologists.
And also, I wonder if all the desks were staffed inLAS Vegas a couple days ago too? I agree, the defunding of NOAA and NWS is beyond infuriating, and if people are now dying, and property is being destroyed because of it, it must be highlighted.
Jason, I know you’re a meteorologist, and this hits different for you, but I think the questions and criticisms here are not of the pros holding the system together at NWS, but whether very highly advertised cuts are giving them the resources they need. Are all the desks staffed as before?
