I never really thought of it much, but it's possible that there are alternate realities where Hikari has his eyes set on another. Heck, I've shipped him with Pit before pairing Pit with Leslie.
I do see Hikari as occasionally teasing a fat Polyurethane in my original "timeline".

Sleeves to contain huge arms seem to be catching on in Unova

Bianca from Pokemon BW2 with absurdly fat arms, stating "Look at these amazing sleeves Rosa got for me! They're just like Elesa's!". An Oshawott is standing under her right arm and looking up at it in concern as the fabric is making intense creaking noises.

Bianca from BW2 with arms that are impossibly fat, the kind you'd only see on a beyond blob sized woman. Her sleeves have completely torn and her arms smack against the ground, crushing the Oshawott that was standing under them. Her face has changed from an excited expression to one of embarrassed concern.

While it is true that I ship Kamiko a lot with Ryuko (and more recently, Tsukiko), technically she's bisexual (but leans heavily towards girls). So it is a safe guess to just call her a lesbian. 😏

Honestly, I feel like gassy characters who are just really stuffed (not fat) are underrated, for as hot as fat slobs are.💅
