Because if so, I can't help but notice that Lana went on to transition in the real world outside of that fictional exploration, so...

This dovetails into my pet theory that one drive for photorealistic games is because business folks know what looks like photos, and feel more empowered to chime in on whether it looks "right" (aka: good) when the reality is art directing a stylized game requires much more skill and experience.

As far as I can tell, a non-zero amount of management courses and training straight up encourage magical thinking. It makes sense that "Fail faster/move fast and break things" as a mantra requires confidence that nothing bad will happen to -you-.

Maybe the biggest meeting of my life was face to face with folks whose vision was the success and numbers of a certain zoological cozy game in 2020. My position didn't last long after I tried to say releasing at the exact right time during the pandemic isn't a viable condition to replicate.

My intrusive tinfoil thoughts keep trying to tell me the east wing crap is a cover for a bunker they'll shuffle him off to for safety from all the "treasonous unrest" and swap him out for AI fireside chats that can go on as long as Miller wants, but that's not remotely helpful. Supreme Court it is.

For artists who bump into complications with 5 and 8, I've had a lot of luck putting the dialogue/text in the earliest sketches to show the writer just how much space is needed for what they want. Your words are great, I'd love to include them, but where is the space for a drawing 🥲
