I’m convinced that your interest in music has helped you avoid or overcome some effects of the ABI. I’ve seen it happen many times. The drummer/songwriter in my son’s band had a brain aneurysm a few years ago and can still play up a storm.
I know, right? In my job, I have to help people using the Centrelink and Medicare Claims app, where the very first question is mind-boggling if you don't understand the lingo.
I remember the lovely Jasmine. This girl is a rescue from German Shepherd Rescue Victoria, smart as a whip and utterly adorable. Big hairy dogs rule.
I've lost track of your dog situation. I lost my beautiful boy Rudy, a long coat German Shepherd. But I've rescued a little girl German Shepherd, Indi.
Well, Insta is driving me insane lately. It's changed the algorithm to the point where I see posts from accounts I've never heard of for 80 percent of the time. I feel like I still have the upper hand with Failbook.
Something practical? Or something more psychologically supportive? I'm there for either. A lift? Coffee? Indepth discussion on dogs? I'm there.
You know what gives me the shits? Updates! One tiny thing has not updated and the entire procedure is doomed, even if you have automatic updates on. Look, I've been around since we wrote university essays on paper with a pen. I've adjusted to technology and I embrace it. But it's not a smooth ride.
Omg, a few months ago, our household (one blind autistic man, one tech-savvy Aspie, and me) all moved up a phone. It took ALL DAY to achieve this feat. You go, Ian.
Wolfie, I’m in Melbourne. Can I help?
Have fun down that rabbit hole.
And I just read yours and I have the funniest haiku story. Ted Kaczinski, the Unabomber, was big news when I lived in SF and we both went to UC Berkeley. When he was finally arrested and identified, Unabomber haiku became a thing. Sometimes you just have to laugh.
I lived in the US for a while, all the 80s and most of the 90s.
Oh, I’m Australian. This is what I’m watching right now on TV
Oohhhh, I actually love beetroot (not canned). Red and purple foods have so many interesting tastes and nutritional qualities.
It’s one of those wines you get offered at Dan Murphy’s for $10 if you spend over a certain amount. It’s from the Barossa region, but yes, it could be Cottee’s byproducts haha. Delicious though.
I’m not a fancy wine connoisseur by any means, but I’m drinking a Shiraz right now that truly tastes like alcoholic liquid blackberry jam. Cheers.
So true. I drive an EV and have solar power. I get criticised for being ‘rich’, until I shut them up by letting them know my parents died and left me a small inheritance.
Coffee in bed, with dog. Good morning!
Oh dear, the commentator on this AFLW footy game just said 'She got a free cock'.

Well now, would you look at that?

A massive study of NEARLY 300,000 people in the United States found that receiving an updated 2024-2025 mRNA COVID-19 vaccine REDUCED people’s risk of severe disease AND death in ALL age groups, REGARDLESS of immunity from prior infection or vaccination.
