his teeth have been brushed, pyjamas put on — and now he’s in bed, being lovingly tucked in by his mother.

a goodnight kiss is placed on his forehead, and he turns his nightlight on - settling down to read a book before he sleeps.

within minutes, there’s cheerios and milk all over the counter — and some in his bowl.
