Trying to build Bean's cat tree. it's going as well as you'd expect for it to go.

It was straight when I put it in the bottom post. I put on this top post and now it's all crooked and fucked. I do not have the hand strength to fix this.

I break them into thirds because she doesn't usually eat a whole single portion, she only eats about a third of the single portions since she is tiny and also since she free feeds on dry kibble throughout the day

Yeah buttons are something I want to do, but I am limited by money and I am trying to take care of basic need things first like her spay next month and getting some auto toys that go off at random intervals.

Maybe it's silly to let her "pick" but I viewed it as a way of giving her agency since I've spent a lot of time sort of dictating to her what she can and can't do. 😅

She hasn't had a problem with chicken and I usually let her "pick" (aka I hold the container out to her and let her rub on one). And she usually picks the chicken. But she walked away from me one day instead of picking so I picked turkey for her instead.

There's usually enough kibble overnight to tide her over until I wake up at 7 to refill the bowl. She *has* gone to the food bowl without me in the past. again, which is why I am *also* confused.

She didn't do this last week, which is why I am so confused. She has access to dry kibble all day and night - she free feeds to a degree. She doesn't tend to gorge herself on it. The only thing she doesn't always have access to is *me* for supervision of her eating said food, like when I am sleeping

also helped me take more boxes to my unit to help me make room for her incoming cat tree.

So she got sick over the weekend as a result from being stressed about him being here. But I don't know why she got sick this morning, unless it's because I didn't wake up when she wanted me to.

turns out, she threw up on my carpet. I don't know why she did it. I know she was stressed over the weekend because my brother came over to help me remove the AC from my window, and she

1. did not like him at all, tail floofed to the max
2. did not like that I had to keep her in my office while he

I don't know what the fuck I am doing wrong, but boy howdy do I feel like I do everything wrong. Bean woke me up at 5:00 by attacking my feet. I moved them away from her and then was in the middle of falling back asleep when I heard a very *wet* sound from her.
