HELLO to all my new followers! I'm a Finnish #gamedev, recently released my third and biggest game yet: POGOPPL. A pogo platformer. Total flop. Nevertheless I am forging on working on my next project, a cowboy game! I'll share more about it soon.

Here's a peek at some of my earlier games.
Rolled credits on the latest DOOM. A power trip on par with Saints Row 4 or Prototype. Good bit of variety with dragon riding and mech bits and lots of secret hunting. The story was engaging too, even if it often was hard to follow. A good time all in all.

1000xRESIST is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Game Pass on November 4.
Eh, color grading is a part of a film's identity, and that look absolutely worked for Fury Road. If you're looking for a film with a more muted palette might I interest you in the latest Marvel movie.

doin a lil something called rippin and tearin
Kinda. I feel like I can get through most of it with the super shotgun, but energy shield enemies do require me to switch to an energy weapon, and you need to hit armored enemies with a thrown shield.
I think having just played through a couple games where you're a guy who can barely walk and one where you're a teen girl coping with eating disorders has put me in the mood for a mindless power fantasy. Having variety in your gaming diet helps you appreciate all the different flavors more!
I'm a few hours into DOOM: The Dark Ages, and despite bouncing off Eternal and generally feeling like I'm done with fast-paced boomer shooters, I'm digging this big time.

Ok, Two announcements:
First, I am amazed to report that #Hypogea just reached 10k wishlists, which I couldn't be more grateful for 🙏🥹

SECONDLY (And I'm somewhat nervous about this) here's a short new trailer with some special info at the end...

Mot's Grand Prix Remastered has been released.

This is a rewrite of the Pico-8 original version in MotC, with 320x240 graphics, analogue controller support and touch screen steering on mobile devices.

And it now has a qualification lap :-)

You're finally getting noticed, [Studio Name]!!!
Stunt Bike Extreme. Released this year. 9 Steam reviews. 1,27€ in the current sale. Light, breezy Trials-knockoff. A bit janky in an not-entirely-detrimental kinda way. A good time if you wanna drive a motorbike while listening to a podcast.

I like the charge jump mechanic but I don't like punishing games like these. I'd like a slow-paced platformer that used this kind of jumping, but without the possibility of losing all my progress.

When @aceottorney.bsky.social first told me about this I said "this could change people's lives and stop developers from getting exploited" and having seen the final resource, I think I was not wrong. I'd call it a must-bookmark for indie devs.

Ended up updating my games to Unity 2022LTS. Security issue avoided. Phew! It went quite painlessly, but still took a day and a half. :|
I'm updating my 3 Steam games due to the Unity security issue. One of them is 2020LTS, two are 2021LTS. Considering updating all to latest 2021LTS, but maybe I should just go straight to Unity 6?

Question: Does Unity 6 come with any extra strings attached vs 2021/2022 LTS? #gamedev #indiedev
You thought #SteamSales were OVER? Oh no buddy, Finnish Games Week is only just getting started. Check out all these cool games!

Played through #SouthOfMidnight over the last couple days. Reminds me a lot of Psychonauts in how the levels are very imaginative and based on various character's memories/traumas.

Good game, tho with a few rough edges. The Americana-musical soundtrack is my fave video game music of this year.
I was more wondering about strings attached with licensing stuff? I remember they walked back the runtime fee, but did they add some other conditions onto newer versions anyway? My googling isn't turning up anything super-useful.

Played through #Atomfall recently. A solid Stalker-like. Doesn't really do anything new, besides the northern English setting, but the gameplay's good, combat is fun and the mystery is intriguing. And unlike every Stalker game I've played it doesn't overstay its welcome, finished it in 16h.
