Yes - was at his bedside when he died, as the blurb informs us
3 French men, 2 turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree actually
Nelson's Victory crew included a Brazilian and a Russian, 2 Indians, 2 Swiss, 2 Portuguese, 3 Danes and 3 Norwegian sailors. There were 3 Germans, 4 Italians, 6 Swedes, 7 Dutchmen, 9 West Indians and an African, as well as 21 Americans, 63 Irish, 64 Scots, 441 English.... oh, and 3 French men, too.
Feeling the increased dose of sertraline today
Here’s the Vincent Price episode of Blankety Blank. He is the personification of charm but you also have the joy of Beryl Reid & Larry Grayson seated next to each other & an adorably ditzy Carol Drinkwater m.youtube.com/watch?v=0fE7...

Milei looks like all the cast of Are You Being Served in one
I think in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s death I was too absolute about how you shouldn’t be glad someone’s been killed. I will make an exception for people who’ve raped babies.
The thing I most miss about my childhood is the voiceover informing me that one of the actors in the programme I just watched is appearing in When Did You Last See Your Trousers? in a provincial theatre
Paint the fence!
Run the raffle
Cut the orange- it’s half time!

Always a pleasure to see Gary Russell's Dick in CEX
Worst Kim Woodburn tribute act ever
Kim Goodburn and Jeerawat Thepthut 💫
Ahh, my dad WAS with Unigate but by the time I went with him had moved to Tom Parker
His biggest seller was a house number plaque with an owl on it to which he affixed the numbers while people waited. He sent one to his fave Corrie characters, Mavis & Derek, but they wrote to say it arrived broken, with a signed photo that was pinned up in our hall for years
My dad used to make and sell garden ornaments at car boot sales, to which I would diligently accompany him each Sunday and vigorously browse with the £2 he gave me. The origin of the love of old junk from the 60s & 70s that dominates my life to this day.
Anyway if you want to know more there’s a film all about it
Up until my mum died when I was 10 my dad was a milkman & I went with him on his round on Saturday mornings (up at 3am, break at about 8 for a Milky Lunch bar & the latest Beano for me, page 3 for my dad). The tips I got from elderly customers paid for my Dr Who video collection.

My dad wasn’t Robert Redford in case anyone wonders
My dad died this afternoon. He was the loveliest man I’ve ever known.
