1st anniversary as an in-house Music Designer vs this time in 2016/17. Music experience leaks from my bones.

Worked on 9 updates since Oct. and soloed 6 of them. The newest goes live, soon, and I’m so proud of our handiwork. Now, I need to finish my reel.

Tired, emotional, proud.

Also big ups to my family. They’ve been through it all with me.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without their emotional support.

Any sane family would’ve considered walking away from my previous career path in 2018 to be a dumb idea. But no, not this bunch.

And here we are.

Can I hypothetically manifest working on a remaster if it becomes a thing?

This, Star Wars Jedi sequel, Witcher IV, Okami sequel, AC: Hexe, or 007. Even if only creating edits for cinematics.

What I was music designer on for the past month went to one of our live environments overnight. I’m a very happy bunny. Would post the streamer’s link but want the full mix to go out first. And it looks visually sick too.

I packed up my life and landed in a new city 1 year ago today.

In that time I’ve:
- Done a LOT of travelling.
- Spoken at conferences.
- Played on a Final Fantasy EP.
- Became an MPSE member.
- Been offered side-gigs.

I plan to travel to France in the new year to decompress.

I’ve died 5 times in the past decade. As I near a milestone I never thought I’d see, I thank my friends/ family for enduring my ennui and madness and for championing my success. I know I got myself here as I made and still live with painful decisions. Whether it’s been worth it remains to be seen Xx

Was literally about to hit order on a MIDI CC controller that’s handmade in Paris. Then realised that I now live in the U.K.

Customs charges……Putain.

Time to ask my cousin if she’ll bring it home at Christmas, instead! Or else pay her a visit in January :)

Dinner this evening:

Whole pack of piri-piri chicken, half an avocado, a slice of gluten free toast with French butter, x3 scrambled rich yolk eggs with spinach and cottage cheese, all topped with salt, pepper, chili flakes and Cholula hot sauce.
Hitting my macros like a boss.

I’ll be the coolest gal in the office.

As my 1st anniversary as a music designer nears in a few weeks, I think of the dream jobs I let slip, and composers who took a chance on me over the past decade. Thank you all.

I’ve shipped 7 game patches since January, soloed 4, and worked on a narrative title.

Let’s see what 2026 brings x
