One of my fellow chaplains (who is non denominational Christian) from CPE talked a lot about the "church hurt" and how people off felt grief when leaving the churches of their childhood. I think it's captured well here!
Those purple ones are crying to be taken home and use.
I woke up from a dead sleep at 4am (EST) with my heart pounding. Something definitely happened here!
Mr Rogers was a hero among humans ❤️❤️
Look at this cool chaplain thing I got for my hard of hearing/non verbal patients!
I'm a hospice chaplain so death and rebirth is very much "on brand" for me. I had been working for the company in a part time role for several months and I think they were telling me to lean on my peers as I navigate the changes.
The funny thing is that I accepted a new role on Monday and they showed up for me yesterday!
Wow, what a beautiful shade of green!
We're all a little hardheaded and need a bit of a nudge sometimes!
Oh wow, thank you! Sometimes Nature whispers, yesterday she yelled a little 😁😁
They say you shouldn't speak ill of the dead, only good.

"That jerk is dead."

" Good."
I completely agree! I'm a death positive hospice chaplain and I can't tell you how many times well-meaning but unintentionally dismissive "I'll pray for you" sentiment can be!

Messages from Nature!

On my way to work, just outside my apartment, I spotted a flock of black vultures (and no carrion) on a grassy hill.

Black vultures signify the ending of cycles, cleansing and rebirth. A flock tells me that I'll need community as I go through the next cycle.

I took a trip to Luray Caverns in the Shenandoah Valley & this formation"Pluto's Ghost" is my favorite. I have been to several caverns (including this one) & I have never felt the slightest bit uncomfortable. Just a sense of deep peace and safety.

How do you feel underground?

I haven't done my reading yet today but does the cat come as a standard package? 😍😍
I'll put that one on my list! My spooky favorites tend to be The Forest, Cabin in the Woods and the Mist!
Well said. There is no shame in choosing to do other work or focus your faith elsewhere if intense self discovery is not your preference. I've always felt that to be a witch, you have to be willing to write and follow your own moral code completely independently. That is hard, heavy work!
I picked this up today finally and if you're pagan, I CANNOT recommend it enough if you are able to read about the persecution of suspected witches in Puritan society. It's fictional and it grabs you from Chapter 1 and doesn't let go! I read the entire book in one sitting!

I love my work, it feeds my Spirit!
These are all pictures of my grandmothers and great grandmothers!
