Good point, they are actually using the player colors.
Inverting the colors just felt like a really dumb idea... Now im not sure if I just go mad or the "not so normal" colors are actually quite cool.

That would be a great third option. Maybe tokens in form of medieval banners or something like that.

Good point! The cards are not to complex. Complexity comes rather from where you place it and are rather a stored action.

E.g. a peasant: placed on on open field harvest resources. Placed on neutral land it claims it. Place in a building it activates the building an creates new cards.

I just draw it... :P So it correlates with the time spent on the project. I also note down feelings, achievements and such stuff.
