This is the Housing Dashboard in Alpha, which shows the starting limit of 300. I suspect it will stay the same, but you never know, they may give us a little more to start with.

I've hit the decor limit of 300 inside my house, so here's a quick clip of what that looks like. I used many items clipped together in the kitchen (the stove has 6+ pieces for example) plus extra walls. I'm so looking forward to lifting that cap! #midnight #MidnightAlpha #WoW

I was at 143. I have now decorated the lounge, dining, bedroom, office and bathroom and hit 300. I want to add a lot more, but the basics are in there. In another game we had up to 2500 limit, which was perfect. Maybe they will adjust over time.

I just realised I said there were a number of '0' items, when actually they start at 1. But, there are a lot of items that only add 1 to your count so being careful, you can place a lot of items even when you first get started.

This is my Housing Dashboard, showing the next level for the whole house will increase to 405. The maximum for the house will be 1000.

The count is different for outside decoration. As you level your housing experience (events and other avenues) your cap goes up.

After deleting my first test house I have started over with some new knowledge and ideas. The first room I am tackling is the kitchen (being mindful of the 300 item cap). So far I am pleased with my progress. I even have a fridge! 🥰 #Midnight #MidnightAlpha #Warcraft #WoW

Exploring underwater not too far from the Isle of Fangs I came across a few pieces that look vaguely familiar. Perhaps we will be seeing the Kobyss again very soon. #WfoW #Warcraft #Midnight #MidnightAlpha
