Last night, dedicated volunteer Graham Furness was presented with this year's Order of 1066 Award, recognising his exceptional and longstanding service to Hastings.

The award was presented at Hastings Town Hall by the Mayor, Cllr Becca Horn, as part of the annual Hastings Week celebrations.
The changes were consulted on in autumn of 2023 before being agreed by the council’s Cabinet in January in 2024. Due to work required to update IT systems and work with neighbouring councils, the changes are now coming into effect.
