I really hate police presence at Black community events. Between the two of these, one clearly tried to fit in, but the overall aesthetic for both is scary boogieman - one classic slapstick, the other classic terror.

I've been trying to get a #moon shot over the @milwaukeeart.bsky.social for yrs. Granted I was focused on the full moon rising over the lake. Last #night, too tired to leave my car, I parked to watch the end of sunset, #twilight, & was blessed w the moon setting over the museum. 🤩

Defendant Letitia A. James, the Attorney General of New York, submits this motion to dismiss the indictment in this case under Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 12(b)(3)(A) because the charges against her were brought by an individual who had no authority to litigate this case on
behalf of the United States. Lindsey Halligan, the prosecutor who sought and obtained this indictment, was not lawfully appointed as interim United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. Her purported appointment violates both 28 U.S.C. § 546 and the Appointments
Clause of the Constitution. Nor was Ms. Halligan authorized to represent the United States under any other title or designation. Ms. Halligan thus lacked the power to present this case to the grand
jury or sign this indictment, and she cannot continue to supervise this prosecution.
