I'm hopeful the football improves a lot when we get some better players returning from injury. Solanke & Udogie should hopefully make a big difference short term, and really excited to see Deki back.
Nice to see Frank try something different, although it doesn't really seem to be working from an open play perspective. Xavi has been poor, but he's so isolated on the left without an overlapping full back / winger. #COYS
This certainly seems to be the case for other clubs: - O'Reilly - City - Bradley - Liverpool - James - Chelsea - MLS - Arsenal - Etc
It would be great to fill our 4th choice full back from within our academy. Any candidates? Anyone who could transition from a midfield role to a full back?
Why do we not see any full backs coming through our academy into the first 11? I've generally felt this should be one of the "easier" positions to bring players through in....
HT thoughts: - Gray, Danso and Odobert all with nice performances - Kudus looks knackered - Bergvall continues to frustrate me - Attack just doesn't seem to gel - I miss Solanke - Akliouche looks quality
The more time that passes the more I think the criticism of Bentancur is a little unfair. I think he is playing exactly how Frank wants him too in possession (risk averse).
Look, I don't mind watching Danso lining up for multiple long throws against PSG but it's ridiculous against Villa at home. What is football becoming man.
