The early saints were being baptized for those who had already passed away, and this is presented as a proof for our faith.

But today, so far I have found no true believers who believe this as true. Partly, because most people don't study the Scriptures, and because those who do study are dull.

Soon, death and Hell will be thrown into the lake of fire, along with the false prophet, along with Satan, along with the whore of Babylon and all of unrepentant Babylon, along with the beast.

The only fuel and power that Satan has is wrath because he knows his time is short and his defeat is sure.

Jesus Christ said "It is finished" twice. Once before He was crucified, on His way to being crucified, and once while He hung on that wooden cross, while His blood was draining from him, just before He gave up the Ghost.

It is finished.

Satan has been defeated, crushed by the foot of Jesus.

If you pray and ask the Lord for understanding in these matters, you will be granted that wisdom, and by studying the Scriptures, by praying, and by listening to others who have trusted in Christ, you will be taught by the same Holy Spirit that we all share in, and you will have communion with God.

If you hear the Gospel, which is the Good News, you will learn that Christ died so that you would not have to, and He went to that spiritual prison, where disobedient souls were kept from way back in ancient times.

If you believe the Gospel, you know that Jesus did not stay dead, but rose again.

If you study the Scriptures, you may find that even though many will "sleep," they will awake, some to everlasting life, and others to everlasting shame and contempt.

If you study the Scriptures, you may find that Jesus died and went to Hell. He is the water of Life, and He has the keys of Hell.

If you keep the words of Jesus, you will know that you are an eternal being, created in the image of God, and you do not need to die, nor agree with people who teach that your life will end.

If you keep the words of Jesus, you can have faith that your eternal life is everlasting and available now.

You don't need to know how the end times will play out, to be saved by Jesus.

You don't need to agree to doctrines regarding any "-ism" other than baptsim, to be saved by Jesus.

You don't need to understand the gates of Hell, or that Hell has gates, or that Hell is temporary, to be saved by Jesus.

There are some Baptists who teach that if you don't believe in the "rapture" in the same way that they believe it, then you are not saved. This is another example of a false dogma that is built out of extra doctrines which are not taught by the Bible, but which are made up of man's extra desires.

It is pride and stubbornness and intelligence of grown men who have become discontent with the simple truths of Scripture that have been the causes for extra doctrines to be said as necessary for salvation, such as what people believe who are entrenched in Reformed, Calvinism, and other theologies.

This is the salvation of Jesus Christ which is so easy to understand that even little children can trust in Him and He will receive them.

The Bible teaches that all who are baptized into Christ are buried with Him in His death and raised again, and our old man dies, and Christ lives in us. Just being dunked under water is not what saves us, but through our faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and those who believe are baptized.

The Good News is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, in Whom the fulness of God dwells, and He came and was born as one of us, a human, and He lived a sinless life, but He became sin, He took on our sins, and He paid our debt, so that we would be free from sin, and be able to put on righteousness.

There is a book of life, in which everybody's names are written who are born with life, but there is a curse of death which everyone is under, because we inherit our sinful nature from Adam and Eve, and we all have sinned. Because of our sins, we are all legally obligated to die, to pay a sin debt.

The Israelites did not keep their place in the first covenant, and they lost it. God makes it clear that this is true. There is a remnant who will be grafted back into the inheritance, but it is only through Jesus Christ that anybody can be born again as a child of God, and nobody earns it by works.

There are some acknowledged mysteries in the Bible, such as the tension of predestination and finished works, yet the true possibility for anybody who hears the Gospel today to be added to the family of God. Or the idea of predeterminism versus free will. The Bible certainly answers these mysteries.

After having listened for some time now, in prayer patiently observing and reporting, the Lord has made me confident to be able to know that several of these churches, although they preach some good Gospel, are dead because they are not rooted in Christ, but rooted in false doctrines and blasphemy.

There are also other 'behind the scenes' doctrines which several churches hold which are closely mixed with the true doctrines of the Bible, such as believing their pastor is the high priest, or churches that believe there is no one body of Christ, but their extra doctrines are kept fairly hidden.

The Bible clears up the errors that people in these false religions espouse as Gospel, but their cults have such deeply-entrenched and thoroughly-reinforced false doctrines, that they feel confident and comfortable in their numbers of members, denying the truth by reason of familiarity.

People like John Piper, John MacArthur, Paul Washer, R.C. Sproul, and others like them have special interpretations of the Scriptures, and they hold their views as elite and separate and they consider anyone who does not subscribe to their views as wrong, claiming to believe the Scriptures, but not.

The Lord revealed to me over the past few days that some of the churches which He has led me to observe recently have deep incessant errors in their theology because they are rooted in several false doctrines and not rooted in the Scriptures.
