Increased cadence of failures in attempting to reach an inhospitable planet whilst making mother earth less survivable.

Why can't these bilionaires turn their attention to reducing conflict, and restoring balance of nature here on earth ? Oh yes, naked greed.
Interesting morning with the Secretary of State for Transport and the Rail minister coming to Bournemouth Traincare Depot to celebrate the first trains under GBR from Sunday.
I fought to get a cycling strategy at the Western Gateway Sub-national Transport group, precisely to think inter-community, and recognise micromobility extends range without the car if only rural roads not so hostile. Not perfect, and took several goes westerngatewaystb.org.uk/wp-content/u...

BBC and Cambridge Uni need to be challenged. False narratives being mainstreamed everywhere
Mayor Making in Poole tonight - outgoing Mayor Pete Miles did a great job. Incoming Mayor Mark Howell has big shoes to fill, but I'm sure will be excellent. The 777th mayor of Poole, quite a portentous number.
Labour are sadly and stupidly sliding ever towards the right. Apeing the racist agenda is not a good look at all.
This is a problem for all electricity supply in the UK, pegging prices to gas, and propping up stupidly expensive nuclear, complete rip off for Britain. Not just media, but it seems government enthralled by the big energy companies.
20 years in the making, though unofficially well used for 50 years. Only a spur to a lovely viewpoint so far.
I disagree, given infrequent public transport options at both ends, I'd always prefer to travel with my bike. As I understand, many commuters in Holland keep two cheap bikes, one at each end of their journey. Better cycle parking and bikeshare is good, but not best.
@bournemouthecho.bsky.social were at part of the conference amongst many others. That track is a very recent welcome addition to the network.
Thank you so much for coming down, giving a great talk and unpacking some interesting questions. I hope you had a chance to see some of the infrastructure we have managed to put in place.
Chanced upon this wonderful website celebrating the decorative tiles of Carters Tiles, later Poole Pottery www.pooleimages.co.uk/carters-tiles
Have been seeking out treasure for the Poole Museum, and a really interesting development last night. As a Councillor, a rare good news moment. More soon

Especially concerning in the South of England, and in our area with lowland European designated heathland at risk on the urban fringes.
Its only so in the adverts. Reality is hassle and expensive, and that is always someone else's fault. I get to meetings just as quickly by bike as colleagues in their cars.
Another great example of where lobbying from big corporations, and greenwashing seems very effective at undoing much careful work and soul searching by those serious about stemming the global effects of mankinds impact on Climate.
I think it should be climate outrage, the popularism of the right wing selfish agenda doesn't label itself as that. We should be outraged that even after the California fires, those backing Trump and Fromage are continuing the "we don't need experts" because the truth doesn't make them quick money.
Pretty sure I've seen these at www.purbeckartisanyard.co.uk tucked on a backstreet in the scenic saxon town of Wareham, Brigit

Exactly this, I wrote yesterday to my MP, first Labour one in a long while to say something similar only yesterday
Every day brings new outrage from the USA. Surely this is indictable? When you consider how they went after Lasange for the Wikileaks episode, this is blatant mass theft and abuse of his role in public office. Mind you, the Trumpster having classified papers at home didn't stop him going again.
