Will l get my own physical copy?

Regardless, all participants WILL receive free access to both the digital zine AND a printable version that artists are free to print and distribute themselves!

This week in 1988: 1,000+ ACT UP demonstrators shut down the FDA headquarters, demanding (and eventually winning) action on developing HIV/AIDS treatments. ACT UP's militant and creative actions always included powerful visual artwork, and paved the way for movements in the decades to come.
A photograph from the 1988 ACT UP demonstration outside the FDA. Many people are participating in a die-in on the front steps, holding mock tombstones with messages like "RIP - killed by the FDA" and "Dead from lack of drugs." A line of police officers (some with classic 80s mustaches) wearing riot helmets stands between them and the building; one cop wearing white gloves is walking through the demonstrators. Affixed to the 2nd story windows of the building is a series of posters and a large blank banner reading Silence = Death.

A print illustration with a limited green, cream, and dark blue palette. The poster is divided into six rectangular sections. The top left shows a formline design of a raven in flight. The top right shows an illustration of Hornby Island Azhdarchids. The middle left shows a cliff overlooking the ocean, with bird-like silhouettes flying above. The middle right shows a shoreline of the ocean, with bird-like tracks in the sand. The bottom left shows an illustration of a raven. The bottom right shows a formline illustration of a Hornby Island Azhdarchid in flight. A formline design where the base shape is the mask of Hornet from Hollow Knight. Inside the mask is the formline designs- the torso of a spider across the lower face area, clutching an egg with infection droplets trailing down beneath the eyes. On the mask's left horn is a butterfly trailing upwards, with a chrysalis at the tip. On the mask's right horn is a hornet trailing upwards, with a larvae at the tip. The mask is off-white/pale yellow, and the formline designs range in shades from a light orange at the bottom, to a pale to dark salmon in the middle, to a bright red at the top. A formline design of a hyena. The hyena is walking, with one back leg and one front leg raised, and it's back is arched forward, with a mane on it. It's head is tilted downward. The whole piece is coloured a near black with maroon and yellow-orange highlights, and the background is a solid bright orange. A formline Illustration of a blue Glaucus with a circle design behind it. The design is backlit with stars and coloured in shades of dark blue to light teal.

I don’t just want you to pay attention to Chicago because I want you to understand our plight. I want you to see how hard people are fighting and know wtf you’re made of. We’re not just fighting for this place. This is for all of us.

Really. Keep in mind AT&T makes a TON of money both ripping off rural communities with expensive cellular (often the only connection anybody can get), but ALSO ripping off school subsidy programs.

Free government Wi-Fi is a threat to them in multiple ways.

This should be a truly massive scandal in the Jewish world. Obviously, many of us knew and assumed this was occurring, but the proof is now out there and it needs to be called out.
