Typically, it’s what Bandai thinks it can sell in bulk at retailers (retailer would usually pass on a more niche design like this). Sometimes though, there are tactical reasons to bring new people into the P-Bandai fold - e.g. Gunpla for shows that have recently finished airing - assumption!

It can! It’s just different I guess, the EG does feature some more color separation in places, though the HGAC transformation is a bit more authentic to the original design.

Oh totally..! Wondering when it’ll drop, feels like something that could be ready as early as October next year (since I don’t see Hathaway having the long cinema runtime that Freedom enjoyed), in advance of a new Gundam show airing October the year following..
