For decades there was a mystery surrounding the name of a TMNT character - the gray rock soldier. It was assumed it was Granitor (I believe the name came from video games) whilst audio version of Archie Comics adaptation called him Morg.

Well the storyboard showed up and it sez... it's Morg.
Look, either fight back or just bend over and keep taking it.
Hasbro just needs to get through their thick skulls that tanks aren't the only military vehicles:
In 2000's it needed to be argued that this was the best look of Megatron. You'd think it's obvious, but not to some... Thankfully despite those people this look pretty much managed to become default look of the G1 version.
Weirdly American looking.
With Marvel you could always tell the quality of an artist by how on model they drew TF's. The more on model, the better the artist. 😎
Trouble with Tron movies is not just the scripts, but also them obsessively making world of Tron look more and more mundane. Wanna dazzle the audience? Maintain the surrealness, the alieness of that world:

Article on Battleram Blog was written on 40th anniversary. Main point is that it addresses the fake "birthday".
Ain't the case of snobbery, but of a destructive psycho.
BTW, go to 19:30 to see Cullen crack up everyone with an adlib. 8]
Before Peter Cullen hit it big with voice acting, he was doing lots of live action gigs:

And both considered for the use on the show. Probably why final Optimus ended up with an all-red cab in truck mode.
Remember that drawing of toy Bumblebee in Marvel US issue 16, on the splash page? Weeeell it's up on Heritage Auctions.

I think it's funnier that someone got this signed by the original Turtles.
the ad from above, but signed by Renee Jacobs (April O'Neil, with a "guess not...", Barry Gordon (Donatello, with a "YEAH RIGHT!"), Townsend Coleman (Michelangelo, with a "Still here!"), Rob Paulsen (Raphael) and Cam Clarke (Leonardo, with a "Crystal Ball, anyone?")
Thankfully her reign of terror fizzled out in the 90's. Alas, there are still those who unawarely parrot her words. Especially when 80's cartoons are being talked about.
She claimed that she's fine when products are based on a show/movie - but that was BS as well. As evident by her going after Thundercats (THAT was the case of toys being based on the show). Went after it even before it even aired:
Real menace were the watchdog groups. Like Peggy Charren's Action for Children's TV. For decades she went on to DESTROY animation industry under pretense of "commercial bad" and "VIOLENCE!!!!".
