2d rough animation of a girl arguing with her friend. she's obviously frustrated and its bleeding into anger. storyboards from a sequence about two best friends getting into a spat over entering the carnival funhouse before opening. done in photoshop. black and white illustration of a woman in an intricate Victorian style dress holding her own head on a platter. Behind her are a bunch of picture frames with botanical drawings. All depth is created through lines inspired by stained glass and topographic maps. four page spread from my comic 'Little Red Heart' about a monster hunter struggling to come to terms with the fact that the woman she's in love with is a werewolf. The pages are of a woman in a cloak walking through the woods and approached a lone cabin that has been trashed inside.

the funny thing is when I post less it looks like I’m making less art when in reality I’m making so much art for work that I have no time to make art I can post or the little time I do makes it take 4x longer to finish 😭

my go to is always 'what deeply personal fear or experience of mine can I mold this vibe/concept around' because no matter how generic or recognizable the packaging- the heart is what makes it your own. It can be very vulnerable but at the end of the day horror is about radical vulnerability

My Ninja Turtles card from Magic the Gathering was revealed!

SHAPIRO: OK, so you've spent your career creating television without Al, and I could imagine today you thinking, boy, I wish I had had that tool to solve those thorny problems... SIMON: What? SHAPIRO: ...Or saying... SIMON: You imagine that? SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over. SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level. SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this. SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.
