I’ve always called it Autumn Equinox but didn’t know anything about eliminating Mabon as a term until this year. This article quotes a Welsh witch as saying it is indeed a Welsh word. I’m certainly not going to try & tell someone Welsh anything about their own language.🫣

I usually give water or booze offerings. I’ve offered food in the past, but it’s never really stuck as a practice that feels right for me. What’s feeling very powerful lately is blessing my meals as an offering to nourish my ancestors as it nourishes me.
