I am definitely done recommending @radpowerbikes.bsky.social.

When we first got our bike, it was great. But they farmed out their customer support, rendering it useless. We got a new battery and it charges 1/5 of the time, plus the new design won't light up when it is charging so you never know.
Glad to see MD has achieved the 30x30 goals ahead of schedule. Now we need to get cracking on the CSNA goals.

@scifri.bsky.social, I loved the story about the cicada song. After the 2003 brood I was inspired similarly to use a pitchshifter to make a song from cicada recording, no cyborgs though.

I didn’t have as much time this year, but was excited to take a quick walk tonight to get a few observations.

I wanted to invite folks to a meet and greet on 4/26 at 3:00pm.

I have stopped by nearly every house and many of the apartments, but missed some people in Ward 2. So I wanted to make sure there was a chance to come meet me too.

It will be at 4010 30th St. There will be light refreshments.

Happy #EarthDay 🌎

We know things aren’t going well, but remember you can still make a difference at the grass roots level. For inspiration you can read how school districts around the US are leading on #ClimateAction! Maybe you can lead in your schools too?

Great series! I couldn’t help but notice the similarities between the climate crisis and the disagreements between the EJ activists, the climate activists, and the corps. One positive is that is that I think the EJ and climate folks are working together better. Maybe the same will happen in AI.
OMG for #2500 there is an S!

1. Donald Trump promised that, as president, he would drastically lower Americans' energy bills.

But hundreds of Alabama residents are receiving a $100 surcharge on their energy bills as a direct result of Trump's actions in the White House.

NEXT WEEK: Prince George's Sierra Club invites you to our Winter Potluck at Mount Rainier Nature Center on Saturday, February 15th, 5–7PM. All are welcome. Registration is required. Bring a potluck dish to share! bit.ly/pg-potluck
I loved the episode you did on the orange blanket ballot @jodyavirgan.com, @pastpunditry.bsky.social, & @kcarterjackson.bsky.social. I hope you do more episodes on esoteric state history. I’ve been reading about MD history and I’m amazed about the weird stuff we did and we’re the most normal state.
What a great experience!
Never been on an outing with the Prince George’s Group? You can experience our November 2024 walk along the western bank of the Patuxent and learn about the flora we encountered. And don’t forget to follow us to join us on our next monthly outing!

Definitely working swimmingly with WMATA.

I’m looking forward to seeing how it works when I go to Raleigh in March.
It’s currently 15 degrees out and I have my brand new heat pump set to 61 and I still want to wear short sleeves in the house. Now that is efficient!
