Played my first game of Cargo Empire yesterday. It’s basically a pick up and deliver without the pick up. I wasn’t expecting too much from this one, but I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of thinking involved. I’m looking forward to playing again.

This evening’s game is “It’s a Wonderful Kingdom.” It’s a two-player spin off of “It’s a Wonderful World” that replaces the card drafting with an l-split-you-choose mechanism. #boardgames

I’ve been playing Concordia Venus quite a bit with the Solitaria expansion. This game took place on the Hispania map with the the Salsa expansion. I lost pretty bad. But considering that the solo bot’s actions are directly dictated by your own actions, it’s actually like I won, right? #boardgames

Finally got around to playing Concordia Venus. I soloed it using the Solitaria expansion. I don’t know what took me so long, but I’m hooked now. There’s so much crunch for such a mechanically simple game. I just ordered the Salsa and Britannia/Germania expansions. #boardgames
