Got a call back from the owner almost immediately.

So, that's just about sorted. :)
It's certainly a younger photo and only one of them pictured but written details of this missing animal report seem to match.

There's no phone number but have tried sending a message.

Yeah, he got tired and was trouble free.
Should have an idea of who today.
This is good to know. :)
I'm worried he is a rescue. :/
The lab seems to have some idiosyncrasies but I've learned to love him.

Here at least he might appreciate something I don't understand but he is bafflingly scared of certain patches of floor that are all the same.
Yup, pretty much a total failure there. If he is wound up enough to yodel all night it's no good.

Split the difference and all seems peaceful, only dogs in here are the usuals.
Seems like many of comparable combos.

I recall most of them from when all I had was a bicycle, forcing some reliance on local if unfamiliar markets.
Eh, I don't know.

It worked fine when I was here alone and had to leave a much smaller Olive for some work hours - it was sort of a condo then, retaining her within camera view and some essentials.

The visiting dog seems distressed by it. :/
The new guy wants to mount everyone and no one likes it.
Olive seems plenty upset at this late hour.

I have a crate, it'll sort things as an interim solution.
Well, I mean I've put plenty of these up in climate controlled spaces, so thoughts about unusually high temperatures never occurred.

I'm not sure I can estimate how hot the ceiling of a generator shed gets, also never considered.
Do we have any thoughts about long term reliability in the case one of these passive infrared detectors are used to switch lights inside the housing containing a large diesel engine and generator set?
I've never encountered anything other than very simple switches.
These are more of an office thing?
Oh, yeah. I know that takes some time. :/

Sometimes I still get a little upset when, after experience, I consider the fairly short time left with these guys.

It's an especially tough marker of time because they are good pals.
The little one nearly tumbled into an open wetwell.

It was terrifying, they can't usually swim. No idea how we could have solved that problem fast except that it's all clean water for now with rainfall infiltrating a cut-off part of the system where houses don't exist, yet.
They are, it's hard to believe but apparently a lot of real good animals pass through animal
control here, too.

It's a service I'm very glad we have - I've called them on duty a few times for pets in peculiar places.
This was the first time it ever seemed expedient enough to do something ourselves.
Popped corn always proves interesting.
So fingers crossed for a microchip I guess?
A person I trust has expressed interest, worst case and she has experience.
Dog seems pretty well behaved, reports say the smaller, younger one appears to know the drill about inside/outside.

There must be some people that know them.
Pretty much.

They were just out having an adventure.
They sort of lingered in area for some 30min, exploring but unsure how to get out because as a new neighborhood under construction it was mostly fenced in to separate a lower lying wetland/environmental easement and they weren't turning around.
What an awful thing to have happen this morning.
They definitely should have been hanging out inside somewhere.
It's hard to imagine someone isn't all ready or soon going to be looking for them.
Lucky, they were so distracted by each other they didn't put much effort as usual into hiding from me.
A colleague secured them at home for now, but on a screened in porch so I'm a little nervous about that and some indication they might mean to keep the little one.

I aim to get them checked for a chip this evening. They just need to make it a few hours without escaping and running off again. :/
