In the Mines of Mythrok section, I was going to draw the art in anaglyph 3D and make puzzles around that concept, as a joke, as we were essentially demaking a VR game.

That plan quickly got shelved 'cause everyone would need 3D glasses, and it wouldn't be viable to turn on and off.

I didn't get far in Shadowgate VR: The Mines Of Mythrok. Should pick it up again but I'm not a fan of the spiders, even with the "Silly Spider" mode turned on.

The box art for Beyond Shadowgate [2024] was drawn by the late, great Stephen Peringer.

He was the artist who gave us the iconic box art for the NES ports of Shadowgate and Deja Vu, among MANY other game covers.

He sadly passed away last year, but his legacy lives on through his legenday art.

It will also take place in the mid-90s, a decade (give or take) after the events of the first game.
