Due to my job as an electrical engineer in R&D in large-scale industry, I ended up in geology in 2010 out of interest and learned a lot there. My knowledge about natural climate change has also increased as a result.

.... Regarding the topic, I already know that .....
here is the other Bárðarbunga quake measured on Reykjanes, at a depth of 1.6 km.

Not all distant earthquakes are easy to measure - this could also be due to the different layers of the Earth - earthquake wave permeability

We are PROBABLY seeing the Bárðarbunga earthquake in the DAS, even though it looks somewhat " smeared " and was measured very quickly ( earthquakes at this distance actually take a smal bit longer ).

Earthquakes interact over very long distances.

... So which one do I see on Reykjanes in the DAS ? Waiting ...

The one at Bárðarbunga was upgraded to M 5.4 during manual review, but at a depth of 700 m - the one at Goðabunga/Mýrdalsjökull is still at M 2.7 and a depth of 900 m with the automatic quality of less than 50%.

I already know that one - so I went to the whole-country page, because this earthquake must have happened somewhere in Iceland ...

okay - almost simultaneously at Bárðarbunga and Mýrdalsjökull, both ~ M 3. ...

In Island hatte es dick geschneit. Am Dienstag (28.10.25) lagen in Reykjavik 27 cm Schnee, das war bereits ein neuer Oktoberrekord für die Hauptstadt seit Beginn der Messungen 1921. Bis heute früh (29.10.) kam aber noch mehr, es wurden 40 cm gemessen.

Ich bitte dies Art der Antwort zu entschuldigen 😊 aber meine " Gedanken " hätten anders den Rahmen gesprengt 😊

Ich will das alles nicht klein reden - ich mache mir schon sehr lange darüber Gedanken ....

Früher gab es auch sehr kontroverse Meinungen, ihr Verbreitungsgrad war allerdings wesentlich kleiner - vor allem nicht dem " Bürgertum " so bekannt. Meist als Artikel, Bücher oder im TV ( zu Hoimar von Ditfurth gabe es einen, dessen Namen ich vergessen habe, der aber sehr konträr und populär war )

Die Verbreitungsart hat sich geändert - die Konkurrenzen untereinander damit auch. Gerade diese Menschen müssen die Anderen immer übertreffen. Wir stehen gerade am Anfang dieses Wandels - es wird mehr als ein KI geben und jeder wird " seine " Weisheit und Wahrheit verkünden.

Im Bereich der Geologie gibt es das schon länger und es läßt einem die Haare zu Berge stehen - aber es bringt diesen Leuten massiv Geld ein .... neue Einnahmequellen, die es früher nicht gab.

Wir müssen diesen Wandel akzeptieren, ihn aber sehr kritisch sehen - die Zeit der Konsumenten ( Gehirn-Berieselung ) ist vorbei - die Gesellschaft war schon immer aufgespalten - die Zusammensetzung wird sich verändern. Ganz neue " Beziehungsmöglichkeiten " werden sich uns eröffnen. Es wird weiter starke Herausforderungen geben, nur haben sie sich geändert.
