Make is easier for women and couples to raise children (mandatory maternity and paternity leave, employment/career protection for women, subsidized day care, real investment in public education…) and maybe more women would choose to have babies.
He doesn’t have the authority to make permanent cuts like this - of course we need one of the other two branches to do their job and hold him to account
