Paramount is also claiming #1 spot this wknd with holdover of its own. Studio reports $8.1M wknd for drama #RegrettingYou thx to slim 17% projected drop on football SUN. Uni estimates $8M for #BlackPhone2 based on normal 40% projected SAT-SUN decline. Final #s to be reported MON.

Horror sequel #BlackPhone2 took advantage of Halloween wknd and reclaimed #1 spot in a tie with $8M in its 3rd round. Down just 38%, 17-day #boxoffice cume is now $61.5M heading to around $73M final. Combined, pair of #BlackPhone flicks cost under $50M to produce and will reach $290M+ global!

After 4th wknd of release, #TronAres sits at global #boxoffice of only $133.9M. Domestic/Intl pretty even at $67.9M/$66M. Top intl mkt is UK at just $6.3M, China total is below $5M. Worldwide final set to be dismal $150M. That's below Gemini Man, Red Sparrow and Morbius!

Kickstarter-funded low-budget mystery horror film #ShelbyOaks opened in Top 10 this wknd with $2.4M. Funded by 14,720 backers, it's the highest funded horror film in Kickstarter history.

Paramount's #RegrettingYou opened in 3rd place with $12.85M and #boxoffice avg below $4k. Based on Colleen Hoover book, mother-daughter tale skewed heavily Female (80%) and heavily White (66%). Reviews were negative but aud feedback was better with RT aud score at 87%.

New Bruce Springsteen film Deliver Me From Nowhere saw a mild debut with opening wknd #boxoffice of $9.1M landing in 4th place. Opening wknd avg was only $2,630. Debut was bit higher than Roofman from 2 weeks ago. Global launch also not on fire at $16.1M.

After opening at #1, #BlackPhone2 dropped 52% in 2nd wknd to $13M taking 2nd place. Not a bad decline for a horror sequel. 10-day #boxoffice cume now $49.1M going to domestic final of around $75M, not too far behind $90.1M of first #BlackPhone. Global at $80.4M.
