It's a new squad, it needs time and tonight was a nothing game - I think Slot was testing out the depth of his squad because we have a few injuries

Slot has decided to test the depth of his squad and more than likely drop out of the competition. That's fine by me tbh it's a shit competition and in this rut having less games gives us more time to prep for the CL and PL

I never said it wasn't fair to judge Slot though? It's completely fair to judge him and the players.

We have bought some incredible players but now we're trying to find a system to accommodate them all compared to our usual style of buying players to suit our existing playing style

I do accept it, I'm not disagreeing there with you.

But you can't just spend £400m to buy 5 new first team players - sell off the same amount of players and expect perfection from day 1.

This is 100% on Slot to work out but the players still have to put in a shift

It's not about the transfers, we are all very happy with who we bought.

The issue is it takes time for the players to gel and form those bonds that make playing instinctual. To get those bonds you need to play and it takes time.

We just hoped there'd be enough quality to pull us through games

Slot - Wrong team selection, too scared to bench players despite incredibly poor form

Players - just don't have any connection with each other. Yes we have injuries but there was more than enough quality to win
