Idk man the APKWS was awarded in 2016, tested in 2021, modified to APKWS II in 2025 and is now the default C-UAS system for the US in the middle east and meeting with a lot of success in Ukraine with the Vampire system. Seems like a rousing success to me without Innoventing and Disrupting

Once its the Ottoman capitol the designs change to the recognizable cascading domes similar to the Ayasofa, which you can see with the stuff like the Bayezid II mosque which iirc was the second large mosque built post conquest. Compart to the converted then added-on Little Ayasofa

What's super wild is that this trend kinda starts with the conquest of Constantinople and the conversion of Ayasofa into a mosque, because the pre-1453 Ottoman mosques don't look much like that at all
