![Hello, I hope you've been having a good weekend!
We come with an announcement and update that will be going into our general rules and FAQ for everyone that is participating, and for any future participants!
Touching upon submissions:
We were asked how submissions should be done, and our response is that we would like it if you could submit your entries to us via Discord, through our Bluesky messages, through our ask box on tumblr, or via email (giftsofeos[@]gmail.com).
For clarification: you are free to upload your entries anyway you want to; we are not wanting to limit how you wish to showcase it (just please respect your gifter's request if they personally don't want it public for any reason at all that is their own). We ask for you to submit your entries to us via one of the aforementioned methods so that we can mark it down as complete on our end!
With that said, an addendum to written entries:
It's come to our attention that some writers are curious as to what the minimum word count is for submission. We have gone ahead and said that 500 words is the minimum of what we'll be comfortable accepting as a finished ficlet.
This word count will not apply to things such as lyrics or poems, which generally tend to hover around an average of ~150 - ~170 words. Same consideration for haikus as they are meant to follow a 5/7/5 format and could not reach that if it is one on its own.
