In good news, my husband was recently approved for a raise! We’ve determined that if we can set aside at least $100 from each paycheck, we should have enough to cover the remaining cost of his surgery by the time we return.

Mr. Cat Update!

For those who care to know, it’s looking less likely that we’ll be able to schedule his surgery before the end of October. With our trip coming up, we’ll be out of state to discuss family matters regarding my grandfather’s will. Mr. Cat will be staying at a cattery during that time.

He is experiencing irritation and frequent trips to the litter box, but he’s hanging in there for now! We just have to monitor him and watch for signs of an obstruction (no way to predict that). The sooner the stones are out, the better!
