wreathed with a bent,
white-hot
neon-light, torn and rent,
halo.
phosporic] abandonment

o!
euphoric, ill-scene:
shoulder blades of coal
tethered,
to blades of steel] rowed,
damascened

anyways, fun fact. if you have one of your eyes opened, you >do have a blind spot that you can't see. obviously, if you move your eye, than that changes where it is. but it is there. and you're blind there bc that's where the nevers are coming from so the cornea is not a 'full screen'.
rather swing sideways, so the eyes crossed in their way to form a new face, and this was ✨inherited forever. this is also why (in principle, nothing to do with your eyes) if you have a vascular oops in one side of your brain, you might have problems with your limbs at the other side of your body.
don't even get me started on the optic chiasm, i used to >bother my teacher so much with emails about it.

but if you didn't know: the large part of what you see in your left eyes passes through an X-shaped structure and goes to the other side of your brain. why? because a fish decided it would +
but even knowing the neurological ins and outs of how vision works, it still feels like wizardry to me that you can see stuff away from you because light is ricocheting all around you and hiting the panel that is your cornea and binary-coding that in your occiptal lobe in a way that makes sense.
i don't remember where i heard it, it was probably from a documentary or from 'ethology', by k. lorenz, but i was so surprised to know eyes are simple structures and there isn't much to it. you see it all around nature. i remember it took the eye of a squid for an example (they have big ones).
alright, i phrased that as the opening of a creepypasta trying to pass as real, but i genuinely think it is impressive. and, yes, i do think it makes more ominous when there's nothing there, because the light do bounce just a >little different if you are staring right at something or if you aren't.
i know it is obvious from a evolutionary standpoint but it is >scary how accurate your eyes are at seeing movement happening in your peripherals. even if you're tired or sleepy, or even without or around my glasses, you will just look at something you saw before being aware you did.
he wasn't great but then again he used to keep me in a session longer bc i just wouldn't say a word so y'know
just unlocked a 10+ years memory of my psychologist kindly under-the-table suggesting i crossed borders to get my ssri instead of going one week without it
deep purpled eye
stringing tears
in a single line
like beaded fears

running amok,
cell to cell,
without getting caught,
rung by a yell

that cries for aye,
till all that is dear
feels worse than a lie
meant only to cheer

one's quiet pain
(for a moment—
could it but remain—),
lifting one's torment.
i became too accustomed to weird and dank and reader-hostile materials so now every time a pick a philosophy book i am shocked they are actually explaining what they mean, it's like coming out from the trenches before going back to coating my lungs with coal in the mines again
angel's egg 1985 and werckmeister harmonies 2000 are the same film

If you heat water for long enough, a myriad of little eyes start staring back at you and try to escape their prison by frenetically dancing
the guy who was only allowed to clean rice since he came there eight months prior wrote a dissed version (he dictated to someone bc he didn't know how to write) and was chosen as the dharma sucessor. crazy

i was a falling star and a pervert wished upon me, transforming me into a beautiful and kind centipede woman
unscythèd light-beams
that can yet stream forth,
trickling
myriads of molt'n ores,

each a precious petal
of a leafen crown,
coro[ll/n]a of metals,
from the solar frown

that is kin tae all,
above or und'r ground.
