In 2024 I bicycled 4200 kilometers. And the total on my current bike at the end of 2024 was 14489 kms. I'll just pin this here so it's easy for me to follow on this year's numbers.

Sain just pari vuotta sitten opintolainat maksettua. Nyt ei ole kuin visa-lasku muutama satanen. Mutta kohta pitää ostaa talvikengät ja ne on pakko Klarnan kautta. Onks klarnojen käyttö nyt siis entistäkin pahempaa? Miks kaikki on niin dystooppista. Mä en jaksa.

The BIS CD of her etudes I think got some glowing reviews? Anyone heard that yet? I'm tempted to do a bit of a detour into more Montgeroult before returning to this box.

With CD7 we go into transitionary territory with Hélène de Montgeroult and her piano sonatas. The classical era is turning into early romanticism in these - though in the early works the classical period sounds still dominant. Lovely fortepiano playing from Simone Pierini. Fun lively works.

Time for some #classicaltalk and what's an unpopular opinion on music that you have? Mine is that Shosty's 2nd symphony contains some really radical and cool music and I love it until the choir drops in at the end. Without the silly poem it would be great, great music. :D

Mä taas tunnen piston sydämessäni, jos tulee ostettua halpaa koska 1) närästys ja 2) mä tiedän että kahviviljelijä ja prosessoija ei millään saa kunnon korvausta siitä. Mieluummin niin, että nekin saa reilun korvauksen laadukkaasta tuotteesta.

Mä en tunnetusti oo hyvä kommunikoimaan mut kertokaas te fiksummat mitä tää tyyppi yritti mulle sanoa? Kyl mä tiedän ettei kaikilla oo varaa hörhökahveihin. Oliks toi joku fallacy of relative privation yritelmä? Jäi jotenkin outo fiilis tästä ni blokkasin ku oon kauhee pahis.

Ok, there's still half the month left so I'll post some arachtober pics.
A large Xenesthis sp. blue tarantula. It has deep blue legs, pink on its head and red/orange hairs on its abdomen. Though a resident of high humidity areas in the Amazon jungle, she is for some odd reason in the process of filling up her water bowl with dirt. Spiders doing spider stuff.
