This is a simple programming task, for which I use Vim, Sed, Awk and Bash.
At 38C3 there was an over subscribed talk on terminal sharing with tmux. If people want more talks like this, I could give introductions to topics like networking pricaples or containerisation.
Sorry for the word salad. My brain doesn't handle switching between German and English grammar.
I found that Tailscale, which is a fronted for Strongswan, very is self hosting friendly.
module_colour = "render_all"; //render_red render_blue etc
//
//Start of module called red, which contains red things.
if (
module_colour != "render_all" &&
module_colour != "render_red")
{
// #OpenSCAD
} else {
color(red)
RedThings();
MoreRedThings();
}
The way I tested for collisions was to have a bash script generate a primative, then render it to stl with the model I wanted to collision test, both inside of an intersection().
If the resulting stl file contained any math, there was a collision.
Hackspaces are like that.
If the surfaces you want to decorate are flat, then you should look at #HueForge for printing colourful high resolution laminates to glue over thick layer internal blocks.
I've used this method to put <1mm holograms and 2 colour lithographs I've printed onto stuff.
You'd need to test the filament for clorine before putting it in the laser cutter. PVC a common additive in other material filaments. Clorine killes lenses when vapourised.
Editing g-code is easy to do, for resuming a print search for a Z height value and deleting everything before this value (excluding temp).
This was a common print rescue method, now gcode editing is used to move the print head out of the way at a seriese of Z heights when creating timelapse videos.
I don't have a link for the valve I'm working on. It looks like a butterfly, if butterflies were disc shaped.
Little do they suspect that most of my APIs are Netcat in a Bash for-loop.
Honey wake up, a new logic paradox just dropped.

Picked up a Spike Milligan paperback today. The Little Pot Boiler, 1963, a collection of poems and sketches and silliness.

This brilliant two page spread made me guffaw too loudly in the charity shop.
/me gestures broardly at the long history of Microsoft and Apple.
Imagin living on a planet where fissile materials are common, then concluding that you need to replicate the power of fission, but with something far more expensive, inconvenient, and decades of research away.
I learned how to draw hands so I could make business cards with an artistic flipping of the bird.
If you are feeding a whole billionare, only to keep as livestock, you are wasting a lot of callories. Why not nibble on them a little at a time, both reducing the amount of food they need, removing any requirment to refrigerate human flesh, and still giving you the oppertunity to get any passwords.
This feels short sighted. If you are going to mutiney and take over a billionarie's dooms day bunker, you should keep them alive, atleast until you are sure there are no passwords you need.

The Fermi Paradox: How Natural Nuclear Reactors May Have Created Life on Earth

Could the origins of life on Earth trace back to a natural nuclear reactor? Long before humanity split the atom, nature itself may have done it first.

I have given up waiting for longsword armour to come back into stock and have become an fabulous armoursmith. My first piece is a fully articulated kydex gorget.

It's sad because the promis of AI has gone from a God like mind that could build a city if given a Roomba with a robotic arm and webcam duct-taped on top, to the highest potential use of AI being Disney/Pokémon hard core shipping fanfic that spreads civilisation ending disinformation.

In 1903, a progressive woman named Elizabeth “Lizzie” Magie designed a board game she called The Landlord's Game. Her goal was to show the world the dangers of monopolies and unchecked wealth concentration.

I looked into this in Reprap's early days.
Any DC motor can be a servo and making it move at a known speed is trivial. 1 axis paper printer heads used to be stepper driven but now are servo. Making a servo hold possition, or block interferience from another axis or springy fillament isn't possible.
But why bother? Recycling one of the most common metals in the planet cost far more than mining more, which we can't not do as it's a byproduct of other mining such as rare earth refining.
Isn't this like putting an oxygen recycler on my house to save me opening a window?
