Have you ever been terrified to ask someone on a date?

I don't like pity marketing, but I'm so desperate. I really just want someone to take a chance on one of my books. I'm a good writer, I promise. I just need someone else to believe it.
On top of that, my day job took over my life, and I'm frankly tired of that. I'm working myself to death for pennies when all I want to do is dance and write and make art. I'd rather make pennies making art.
I've had such a rough month. June is supposed to be my birthday month and Pride and instead I got to spend my birthday alone and a few days before that one of my cats passed.
My life is a complete disaster right now, but at least I finally have a Portuguese bank account and I wrote this:

What would you do if you hated every sound you heard?

It's becoming real...my new book Queen's Bane just got the A-OK to put up for sale.
I've been able to have things like pasta, cookies, cakes, pastries, etc., but some kinds of bread make me sick. So maybe it's the yeast? It mainly seems to be "whole wheat" or brown breads, I do better with things like baguettes...Frustrating.
There's a fancy bakery just around the corner from me, and I tried their special Alentejo bread last night. I've been wondering for awhile if I'm sensitive to gluten (please nononono). And today I got a VERY upset stomach.
I am both excited and depressed about getting a day job.
Yay being able to eat and pay rent!
Boo having the Sunday blues again.
Yay sponsored visa!
Boo being chained to a set schedule again.
Having that fun experience of finding pretty egregious typos in a work I've released (thankfully I'm re-editing and formatting for the ebook and soft cover release)
My Goth card should be taken from me. I love the sun, and the heat, and finally feel ALIVE again after a really hard, cold, long winter.
Being cold is *physically painful* for me.

Also, SAD is a thing, and long stretches of grey, overcast days make me literally want to kms. Vit D helps, but not always.

Winter is hell for some of us, too.
I understand that some people can't stand heat and hate the summer, but also...there are some people who can't stand the cold and hate the winter.

It's also not being soft or whiny. I have Reynauds and I might lose my fingers and toes if they get too cold for too long.
