I don't bat 1000 when it comes to the shit that comes out of my mouth or that I post, so I get along best with people who A. Call me out when I strike out, and B. Have that same level of awareness with themselves where it's like, "yeah who actually cares whether a taco is a sandwich? This is fun."

I can usually tell what kind of person someone is depending on how they react to stuff like that. Another thing I love doing is starting up my "I hate pasta" bit, or some other really silly opinion I have about meaningless things, and seeing who plays into the absurdity, and who doesn't.

Once in a while, especially if there's someone newer in the group, I'll try to get a reaction out of them by doing or saying something out there, just to see what kind of person they are. One time, I exclaimed "zounds!" while I was excited about something in VC, and it was priceless.

Everyone else was staring at their nemeses like, "We CANNOT allow their plan to succeed!" But Jecht would look at Tidus, and Tidus would look at Jecht, and Jecht would say something like, "This is weird, huh? Whatever I guess I can kick your ass again. See you at home when this is all over."

My favorite part of Dissidia was that Jecht and Tidus were included at a point in their own canon, where it seemed they had reconciled, so every time they fought, they just kinda shrugged at each other and were like, "I guess we can play along with the rest of them."

I am not sleepy, but I AM absolutely thrashed. I just got home from working not too long ago, so I'd hate to just go to bed without doing anything else for the day. Might need to shower and hope I get my second wind.

I also think "AU but your favorite characters are in the real world," is boring. The novelty begins and ends at "the artist put them in new outfits." I don’t know. Make it more contemporary if you want, but I'd prefer a more realized fictional setting for an AU over, "let's just put them in Tokyo."

The AU Dissidia Mobile game's premise is kinda lame to me, ngl. I can feel the fashion brand events from here. Like, I know in the small window of time before EoS, this is probably gonna be used to sell gamified ads for Gucci or w/e.
