Artists - just cause you CAN monetize your work doesn't mean you should. There is NOTHING wrong with just doing art as a hobby. I miss it actually. When my art became my main source of income, my relationship with my work changed forever (and often feels way less creative than it used to be).
My biggest piece of advice for artists who want to run their own art business is that first and foremost you need to want to run a business, aside from the art. (A thread 🧵⬇️)
