The FC hotel lottery felt all screwed up. No emails received. If I go into the site itself, it says I wasn't selected for Wave 2, but Wave 1 just says I entered,n o indicator either way. It feels like there were some issues, and I can't help but feel I got screwed out of a room somehow.

I see so many fursuit makers treated like commodities and not actual human beings, and it makes it tough to want to be around fursuiters.

Fursuit makers are artists too, and they would love to see photos of the creations they spent months working on out in the wild. Instead of just...disappearing into the void.

Shaving fur? Take your time, trim from multiple angles between brushing. You want to get it -really- smooth? The secret is aggressive slicker brushing at the end! It helps randomize the nap length and any cut lines left.

Shaving fur kit. A size 30 Lucky9 cat blade, a 1/4" guard, Oster classic 76 trimmer, scissor, soft brush, slicker brush, and blade oil

Two toe pieces. Left is untrimmed, right is finished and brushed and looking very soft.
